Enforces the Smoke-Free Ontario Act and the Electronic Cigarette Act through inspections of enclosed workplaces, public places, schools and other places required to be smoke-free or vape-free * conducts inspections of tobacco and electronic cigarette vendors to ensure compliance with youth access restrictions Website includes legal information about the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, the health consequences and burden of tobacco use, the benefits of quitting and information about programs and services available to help people overcome their tobacco addiction * includes regional and provincial stop-smoking campaigns and events |
