Service Description: Information service and call centre established for consumers to report fraud complaints

Central agency in Canada that collects information on telemarketing, advanced fee fraud letters (Nigerian letters) and identity theft complaints * provides assistance and intelligence reports to law enforcement and regulatory agencies in Canada, the United States and abroad to assist in bringing action against fraudsters * individuals should also contact local police to file a report and to have the matter investigated * SeniorBuster program provides awareness/education to seniors groups
