| Service Description: |
Specialized rehabilitation services for children and youth * available on an as-needed assessment and consultative basis Adaptive Technology Service (ATS) - Customization of commercially available regular and adapted equipment or the fabrication of specially designed equipment for children with special needs * fees dependent on services provided Augmentative Communication Service (ACS) - Supports children and youth in finding solutions to help them to write, or communicate in person (face to face) when low technology or standard strategies and therapy have not been enough to meet their needs * fees dependent on equipment, if required Seating and Mobility Services (SAMS) - Works with families and clients with varying disabilities to make decisions about seating and mobility equipment * fees dependent on equipment, if required Specialty Clinics - Pediatric medical and dental clinics, including Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Clinic * both multi and single doctor specialty clinics that are supported by TVCC clinicians including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and a registered nurse clinician (519-685-8700 ext 54086) Therapy Contract Services - Occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech and language pathology services are arranged by request of a student's school to the case manager of the Community Care Access Centre |
