Groups are offered in Strathroy and London * Strathroy group offered at the CMHA Middlesex - Strathroy Site, with the frequency depending on the need * London group offered at the Vanier office 3 times per week Kid to Kid - 7-week program for children ages 7-14 who have a family member living with mental illness Managing Emotions and Positive Parenting Program - Group for children struggling with frustration, anger, self-esteem and related behaviour * caregivers of the children participating in the Managing Emotions groups participate in the Positive Parenting group that is offered at the same time * Positive Parenting ("Triple P") groups offer parents an opportunity to learn strategies that work while parenting their child in a positive manner that builds self-esteem Caring Dads - 12-17 week program that aims to engage fathers and helps them to develop child centered fathering and take responsibility for abusive behaviour towards children Parent Education- Identifies and teaches support skills needed by parents * may be offered to families while they wait for other Vanier services |
