Harm-reduction program aimed at preventing blood borne infections such as HIV and Hepatitis, by reducing the sharing of needles and other equipment * provides clean needles and other harm reduction supplies, including alcohol swabs, filters, tourniquets, cookers, vitamin C, sterile water, and sharps containers * safe disposal of used needles Public Health Nurses offer testing, counselling and referral to appropriate community agencies |
