Service Description:	Community strategy and action plan to deal with Youth Homelessness in Elgin * youth who become homeless are encouraged to call 211 for assistance * based on assessment the youth is provided supports and servies to ensure they are housed in a safe location The following agencies are participants of the Youth Homelessness Protocol: Canadian Mental Health Association - Short Term Crisis Intervention Community Action Network for Children and Youth Elgin Elgin County Youth For Christ/Youth Unlimited Family and Children's Services of St Thomas and Elgin County Salvation Army - Community Alternatives for Youth - St Thomas and Elgin YWCA St Thomas-Elgin
