Service Description: Community strategy and action plan to deal with Youth Homelessness in Elgin * youth who become homeless are encouraged to call 211 for assistance * based on assessment the youth is provided supports and servies to ensure they are housed in a safe location

The following agencies are participants of the Youth Homelessness Protocol:
  • Canadian Mental Health Association - Short Term Crisis Intervention
  • Community Action Network for Children and Youth Elgin
  • Elgin County Youth For Christ/Youth Unlimited
  • Family and Children's Services of St Thomas and Elgin County
  • Salvation Army - Community Alternatives for Youth - St Thomas and Elgin
  • YWCA St Thomas-Elgin
