Service Description: Public health services that promote health and prevent disease for area residents through life stages
 
Environmental Health - Water quality testing, health hazard investigations and air quality monitoring
 
Food Safety - Inspects restaurants, teaches safe food preparation and offers food handler training courses
 
Immunization Clinics - Immunization clinic * vaccination against common infectious diseases
 
Infection Disease Prevention and Control - IDPC - Monitors, prevents and stops the spread of infectious diseases like influenza, HIV/AIDS, ecoli, salmonella, hepatitis and others
 
Needle Exchange - Harm-reduction program aimed at preventing blood borne infections such as HIV and Hepatitis, by reducing the sharing of needles and other equipment * provides clean needles and other harm reduction supplies, including alcohol swabs, filters, tourniquets, cookers, vitamin C, sterile water, and sharps containers * safe disposal of used needles
 
Sexual Health Clinic - Sexual health clinic * health professionals test for and treat sexually transmitted infections * family planning services
 
Tobacco Enforcement - Enforces the Smoke-Free Ontario Act and the Electronic Cigarette Act through inspections of enclosed workplaces, public places, schools and other places required to be smoke-free or vape-free * conducts inspections of tobacco and electronic cigarette vendors to ensure compliance with youth access restrictions
